A fresh beginning....

 

Welcome to my little page - I suspect I will be writing for my own amusement but that is fine! A few years ago I created a blog called 'Mothball and the Magpie' - dedicated to my adventures and documenting things that I found interesting. It was never intended to be groundbreaking or reach dizzying heights of follower numbers (hell, I was shocked if anyone read it and commented!!) but it gave me a place to be creative and share my joint love of writing and photography. 

Fast foward a couple of years (ok, about 5 years...) and I am in a different place both literally and metaphorically. After some time to readjust and hibernate I am keen to get back to being creative. The old blog just didn't seem right, so I have made something new but also linked to the old.... and I am hoping this will spur me on to new things!

Let's see what happens.....
